About the Shinco SDZ1-150P Dehumidifier with Pump
The SDZ1-150P has a built-in pump: it pushes water up and out through a hose to a sink or a window when there is no floor drain lower than the unit. It also drains by gravity through the 23.6-inch hose, or into its 1.85-gallon bucket.
It is ENERGY STAR certified at 50 pints a day under the federal basement test. In hot, wet air (95°F and 90% relative humidity) we rate it up to 150 pints a day, for spaces up to 7,000 square feet. We list it at 48 dB at its loudest.
Humidity is set from 30 to 80% in 5% steps, on the touch panel or from your phone over Wi-Fi, with a 24-hour timer, two fan speeds and a child lock.
The SDZ1-150P Dehumidifier with Pump is part of the Shinco air-care line.

Questions
Shinco SDZ1-150P Dehumidifier with Pump: questions
When do you need a dehumidifier with a pump?
When the nearest drain is higher than the unit, a laundry sink in a basement or a window above it. A gravity hose only runs downhill. The pump pushes water up and out.
